Sidney Crosby was just trying to enjoy lunch during a vacation in the Bahamas when a 10-year-old Penguins fan spotted him nearby.

After working up the courage to ask for a photo, she got much more than she expected.

Crosby posed with her, walked over to speak with the rest of the family, talked hockey and stayed for a few more pictures.

Then came the part they did not see coming.

When the family asked for their bill, they learned Crosby had already paid for their entire lunch. He also left the young fan an autograph and a handwritten note.

No cameras. No announcement. Just a quiet gesture from one of hockey’s biggest stars.

We just took our @Starlink Mini on a 3,000 mile roadtrip from Colorado to Oregon and back.

Before we left, my wife could not comprehend why we were brining it with us… “We don’t need it” “We’ll be fine without it”

3,000 miles later, she asked if she could get one for her car so she can have service all the time.

It’s crazy how many stretches on the interstate and our trip we had little to no cell phone service, but the Starlink did… The entire time

An Air Force veteran spent $350 on a Rolex in 1974 nearly an entire month’s salary at the time.

He bought it for scuba diving while stationed in Thailand.

But when it arrived, he looked at it and thought it was too nice to risk in saltwater.

So he never wore it.

Instead, he locked it away in a safety deposit box with the original box, receipt, warranty, brochure, and every piece of paperwork.

For the next 45 years, he only took it out a handful of times to admire it.

When he finally brought it to Antiques Roadshow, the appraiser couldn’t believe what he was seeing.

It wasn’t just a Rolex.

It was an extremely rare 1971 Rolex Cosmograph Daytona Oyster in virtually untouched condition possibly one of the finest surviving examples in the world.

Estimated value: $500,000–$700,000.
