@jrolley325@NHL@SanJoseSharks@penguins Looks like the part below the map was conveniently left out: don’t see Pittsburgh on the list as a coastal city. Your own evidence seems to go against you on this one.
@jrolley325@NHL@SanJoseSharks@penguins Weird to take the time to reply to someone but block them so they can’t even see what your response is. All over a harmless discussion about the meaning of the word coast? Man, Twitter has become very strange these days. Anyway, you do you, Mr Steelers Fan. No harm intended.
@TheLeafyGreenTV@NHL@SanJoseSharks@penguins Or we can appreciate both Dubas’ masterclass and laugh at NHL Twitter not having a clue about geography at the same time. If a Vancouver player got traded to Toronto, would you say he “switched coasts?”
@regwald What did Dubas really give up though? A protected 1st and a 2nd to get Karlsson AND $3M in cap space. I wish Holland had the cajones to do that.
@JFreshHockey I mean, we all thought it would cost more than that, right? Why not go for one last hurrah? The Pens were never gonna rebuild under 87’s watch. Dubas either becomes a Theo Epstein style legend or digs himself a bigger hole when Croskin retire, but worth rolling the dice.
Someone needs to write a piece for @TheAthletic comparing the Edmonton Oilers and Anaheim Angels - two teams underachieving while having two of the best players in their respective sports on their teams. Both have “involved” owners, too. Maybe an @Lowetide@SamBlum3 collab?
@Jared_Tims Is 34-16 possible once they’re healthy and can roll out a consitent lineup? Maybe. Will that be enough? Maybe not. They’ve unfortunately burned a dozen games off the calendar treading water so they’re going to run out of tarmac. But I hope they win so fans stop blaming Ohtani.
@SellTheAngels@haloshub If the best hitter in baseball isn’t given the green light at 3-0, what are we even doing? Let him leave this winter then. Angels fans who make comments like this- it’s a chronic disease of bad teams’ fans finding flaws with their best players. cc @Lowetide
@loxyisme @Woodguy55 But that’s why it’s an homage and not a copy! It’s great because it’s “same but different” instead of just the same. A fine photo indeed.
