After trading away their 1st rounders in 2020 and 2021 for Jalen Ramsey, the team is set to go five consecutive years without utilizing the NFL’s biggest weapon for a healthy cap (five years of cost control)
@lv_rams @real_kylo If you can draft in the 2nd 3rd and 4th rounds you should be able to draft in the first. I just dont bail my team out of their mistakes. We over pay in picks value and extensions and then give the same guys away for nothing. It adds up overtime
@lv_rams @real_kylo No sleeper picks in that outside of kupp and jj3. 1st 3 rounds should be quality starters in due time and that list is unproven. And we havnt had a 1st rounder in 5 years. I dont mind give up 2 1sts for a promising qb on a rookie deal. Did trading a 1st and extending cooks work?
@HectorMariscal7 @real_kylo Seen the rams keep making short term moves for years and its catching up. Was just surprised no one is skeptical. Obviously I'd rather have ramsey than a pick if all things were equal but they arent and I want them to win for a long time
@HectorMariscal7 @real_kylo Didnt mean I'd rather just blindly pick at 20 and it will be better than ramsey. But for a team who roster is depleting 1st rnd rookie contracts hold value. Is it smart to pay half your cap next year for 3 guys? Do individual cbs really impact the team that much. That worries me.
@ChrisC_Hussle@LosRams2@Rich_Hammond Think nagy wouldve been fine with mahomes. Made trubisky look significantly better. Was just an awful pick altogether
@LARamsFanZone @Rich_Hammond Huh? If you liked these moves in the moment you were a limited fanboy (not saying you specifically) trade for cooks was fin not the deal they made. The ramsey trade was the 3rd bad live they made and I hate knowing it will pan out the way the first two did
@QBsMVP Love cooks literally wish him ALL THE BEST as a player and a person, but solid ass move for the Rams. Was really hoping for a 2nd not a 3rd. Wr draft class is stacked anyway
