Our 6th grade students involved in the Engage Central Ohio Leadership Program returned to Ohio State again today and did a fantastic job representing Groveport!
Just a couple of the cool things our 6th graders have done recently: Mrs. Hollis took 20 students to Ohio State as part of a leadership program with students from Gahanna, Dublin, and Columbus. Additionally, 6th graders are having a "read-in" in ELA today with popcorn!
A group of twelve 8th grade students from MSN visited Dublin Grizzell MS today. They experienced what school is like at Grizzell and built relationships with twelve Grizzell students who will return the trip in the Spring. Thanks to @wilkinsaw and @GMSCeltics for hosting!
Our Middle School North band students led by Mrs. Ninic were absolutely fantastic tonight! So proud of the work that they have put in through the beginning of this school year! @GMschools
Yesterday at MSN was pie/duct tape the Principals. Students earn PBIS points at MSN when they demonstrate our values of Positivity, Respectfulness, and Ownership. Students use points to buy goods or participate in activities. A great time was had by all... except the Principals!
Mr. Dillon's ELA class is holding a mock trial from the book Of Mice and Men. Students have not only read and discussed the book, but researched each of the roles in court cases!
Mr. Frost had his PE students play "All Sports Golf" on Friday. Students were in groups and each group had different items to throw/kick. There were multiple "holes" and the groups compete against each other. It was very creative and the students loved it!
Just a few of the awesome things going on at MSN today:
1. Music class doing bucket drumming
2. Our partners from Mapping Your Future doing a lesson on bullying
3. Our art students finishing a project on one perspective cities
Our students are so talented!
