Yesterday Officers and PCSO's from team2 conducted a traffic op on the area , 19 TOR's, 2 warnings 2 stop searches and 1 vehicle search , as a concern was raised at a local PACT meeting.

A suspicious male driving a silver Golf in and around the Church Lane area of Manchester. Officers have tried to speak to the driver and he has failed to stop leading to a short pursuit around the area. The suspect has fled on foot and officers have seized the vehicle.

Team 2 on patrol patrol when they witnessed a male riding dangerously on a modified E-scooter. The bikes were seized and one youth was taken home to parents due to health and safety reasons.

#UPDATE | Following our appeal, we have arrested two men, aged 47 and 59, on suspicion of theft and burglary, in relation to a number of reported parcel theft incidents across Moston on 4 January 2026.

They remain in custody.

Our Neighbourhood Policing Teams were out in #Harpurhey today.

Inspector Pickavance and a number of officers were out and about, providing visible policing in the area.

During the patrol, one male was arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs as a result of these patrols.
