The cross does not promise that every road will be easy
It promises that no faithful soul ever has to walk it alone
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart
- Proverbs 3:5
Stop waiting for permission.
The people who laughed at Noah drowned.
The people who mocked David fell.
The people who crucified Jesus thought they had won.
History is full of crowds cheering the wrong side.
I’d rather stand alone with the truth than be applauded for a lie.
If that makes me crazy, hand me the straightjacket.

Jesus never promised His followers an easy path.
He promised they’d face opposition.
“If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated Me first.”
John 15:18
Laotian national Tou Lue Vang was convicted of sexually abusing a 10-year-old girl in Minnesota.
He was set to be deported until @GovTimWalz issued him a pardon.
Then, I revoked his legal status. @ICEgov has removed him from the U.S. and he will never endanger another American.
Every morning I wake up with a choice: to let the world shape me, or to let God strengthen me. I have learned that faith is not proven when life is easy. Faith is proven when the storm is loud, when the battle is real, and when I choose to stand anyway.
The enemy wants me to quit. God calls me to endure.
I will not surrender my peace to fear. I will not trade truth for comfort. I will not compromise my convictions just because the crowd chooses an easier path.
The greatest victories are not always won on a battlefield. They are won in the heart when I choose forgiveness over bitterness, courage over fear, obedience over pride, and faith over doubt.
God did not call me to a life of convenience. He called me to a life of purpose. Every trial is preparing me. Every setback is teaching me. Every prayer is drawing me closer to the One who has already secured the victory.
So today, I will fight the good fight of faith. I will hold tightly to the eternal hope Christ has given me. I will stand firm when others fall away. I will speak truth with love, walk in humility, and trust that God is working even when I cannot see His hand.
My strength is not my own. My hope is not in this world. My confidence is in the Lord.
And as long as He gives me breath, I will keep fighting the good fight. Amen.
