@RandPaul Mr. Cosplay-Doctor...
Donald Trump is a criminal. His is not a political martyr, despite the GQP's pathetic attempts to make him one. No one is above the law. Not him. Not you. No one.
The DA deserves praise for holding him accountable...which you and your GQP ilk refuse to do.
@SpeakerMcCarthy So by that logic, any politician who has a "political opponent" (which would be ALL OF YOU) should be off the hook if they commit a crime?
Donald Trump is a criminal. He belongs in jail. Your attempt to make him a political martyr is pathetic.
The "law and order" party is dead.
@TheNBACentral@EricPincus Ridiculous. One of most exciting games all season, and they want to prevent it from happening again because it went to, oh the humanity, double OT.
Kawhi is the poster child for "load management", aka, soft players. Holding him up as a reason to avoid long minutes is absurd.
@GreatBrianLast Ideally, it wouldn't be needed. I love baseball and having a clock just seems wrong. But players have had 2 decades to police this themselves and have utterly failed...way too many games have become a complete slog that even I have a hard time watching. This is, sadly, necessary.
@ESPNRadio@Espngreeny@MLB@NBAAllStar@NBA@ESPNNBA@NBAonESPNRadio Because that idea worked out soooooo well for baseball.
Absolutely NOT. Nothing related to regular season and/or playoff games should have ANYTHING to do with an exhibition game, no matter how competitive or non-competitive that exhibition game is/isn't.
Period, end of story.
@UniWatch Yep, hate it. Fine with the pitch clock, bigger bases are meh, and banning the shift I don't like because it rewards lazy hitters, but I get it...but this one is a gots-to-go situation. Hate hate hate HAAAATE this ghost runner garbage.
@TonyReali If you purposely don't call something that should have been called to "let the players decide it", then you're failing the game. I know it's the ticky-tack calls that most folks are referring to when they say that, but I thought that was legit. More than ticky-tack.
@TonyReali Not the most egregious foul I've seen, but can't say it wasn't a foul. Hate when folks say "refs shouldn't decide the game, let the players decide it". If you're the ref, whether you flag it or not, you're making a call, "yes it's a foul" or "no it's not"...either way you decide.
@MenInBlazers The palm facing the ball, not the ground, is a dead giveaway. This was not "bracing his fall" going to ground. This was intent to block the shot and 100% a PK.
How it wasn't called is beyond me; how VAR didn't at LEAST call Pawson over for a look is astonishingly poor. VAR fail.
@MLB Pitch Clock: Yes. Players have had YEARS to fix the awfully slow pace of play, and have failed. Time to force it.
Bigger bases: Meh. Suspect this will have little impact and just look weird at first.
Shift ban: Boo. Just penalizes defense & rewards lazy hitters who only HR/K/BB.
