I'm not sure how many of you will read this, but for those of you who do, here's a brief update on @GMTesports and our experiences after leaving competitive VALORANT.
I always knew that we’re in for a long journey. Great success followed by an equally dramatic decline was never an option. Developing the industry I adore, to which I have devoted the last four years of my life, was, is, and will be my goal.
When the decision to stop competing in competitive esports was taken, it felt extreme, but now that I'm at peace with it, and the more I consider it and analyse the current trends, the more I know that it was the only proper choice to ensure sustainability. It seems like the only thing that could ensure our continued presence in the sector, at least for the time being.
As soon as this decision was taken, we decided to create the best gaming centre in Azerbaijan. I envisioned a location that could host pretty much anyone who loves the gaming industry the same way I do. Three months later, GMT Arena opened its doors to the public.
An immersive experience in the world of esports is offered by 52 gaming PCs powered by @LogitechG and @Alienware , 5 @Sony PS5 consoles, a bootcamp, private rooms and a coffee bar for over 30 people, all surrounded by 5 TVs. GMT Arena is the ideal place to eat, play games, sleep, and repeat.
I am incredibly proud of everyone who has assisted me in realising my vision and accomplishing our original goal, which is to grow the business that I adore.
We are putting off our return to competitive scene at this time. Every day, I analyse the market and search for a chance to provide the brand I founded four years ago with sustainable growth
In the interim, I intend to share with you some "insider" information regarding the entire process of how we decided to open a gaming centre, including the successes, the drawbacks and etc.
I hope you will enjoy it, and let me know what you think about the journey.
Peace <3

After dominating VCL Rinascimento: Split 1 & 2 with 181.1 ADR, 297 multikills and 27 shorty kills, we say goodbye to Martin "@imthemarteen" Pátek.
There are no words to describe how grateful we are to marteen for his dedication to the entire organization. It has been a pleasure to see how much he has developed as a player and grown as a person over the past year.
GMT VALORANT wouldn't be where it is right now without him. The whole scene will know his name soon and we wish him nothing but the best for the future.
Děkuji, marteen! 💙
