I’ll be posting daily about something new I learn in tech — concepts, tools, or just thoughts that clicked.
Let’s stay consistent and keep learning
normal methods belong to a Object not to a Class where as static methods belong to a Class ..and hence we are able to call them using Class .For every static variable in a class all the objects that are created under it will refer to the same variable.
every class in java is an extension to Object class --essentially when u create a class it extends the Object class implicit . And this results in certain function that help us describe the class ka nature like
instance.toString ==> ClassName + "@" + hashCodeInHex
so while responding the server say
Access-Control-Allow-Origin: http://localhost:3000
when the browser reads it ...it understands that it this authorized and hence allows the frontend to read it
cross origin resource sharing : it is a browser feature
origin : protocol + domain + port
It has a thing called Same Origin Policy that says a frontend can only access the response if the server has allowed this response to be seeing it ..
npm install nodemon --save-dev
when one installs a package using the above - it is saved as developer dependency .There are two types of dependencies one developer the other system .When a person clones your repo he installs only the system ones not the dev dependencies.
It has a .bin folder... This folder contains executable command shortcuts for packages that provide CLI tools.
so when ever one says nodemon index.js it actully executes the nodemon file in the .bin
node_modules contain the list of packages that are required for the execution of the program so any new dependency also makes its way here.
express has a folder here and so do these other dependencies that u install using ..
npm install xxx
If you’ve gone deep (pre-training, SFT, LoRA/QLoRA, RLHF, evals, etc.) — what actually worked for you?
Best courses? Books / papers + code repos?
or any material that helped you build a great mind map or get that intuition that helped you down the line...
I need to actually understand LLMs + fine-tuning properly… not just hack through with random videos → then prompt GPT to reverse-engineer.
It works for rushing, but I’m missing real foundations.
This time I want to learn it right.
document.getElementbyId("targetid")=> returns a HTML object then following it up with .attribute is searching for that particular value in that object and then trying to alter it in further code.
