During the @UVic Orange Shirt Day event on September 29, 2026, the cinematographer Simon Hergott was surrounded by a mob of individuals. One of them punched him several times and threw a drink in his face, damaging his camera. We believe that this individual is named Josee Street (pictured below).

We have reported this suspect to the police and intend to press charges.

For the record, he has a majority government, and could've implemented this last week if he wanted to.
