@PogasicJim@A_A_Toulkeridis@TheOnlyDSC Here deliveries are made after work hours, you also get a decent estimate of arrival, and normally you also have live GPS tracking of your package so you know when you need to be ready to receive. But surely the US way is superior, as always, with everything. /s
@FNCreate Finally, but also too lenient in my opinion. These spam creators should already be against the "1.6 Be Original". Anyone with more than 5 of the same map should've be instantly banned and payments frozen.
Better late than ever though.
@giovauefn "It's definitely not an easy fix"
I disagree, part of it is actually a very easy fix. Most of the spam is from singular creators doing this, just go and ban them and you have reduced the problem by 90%+
@JNavok@RabiesFPS A lot is from the same creator(s), making it extremely easy to both prevent at map review if Epic would spend 10 seconds looking, or detecting afterwards and enforce the rules, which neither is happening. About 2/3 of the maps were spam when I looked yesterday. Inexcusable.
@RabiesFPS@virti_gg@FNCreate My guess because you were the highest bid, and the second highest was .21, hence you are charged .22. Same if you bid .30 and someone bids 1000, they'll be charged .31. Could be an average of successful bids up to your limit. E.g. 50% .20 50% .24
@Kightleyy@YouTube@EpicGames Fortnite isn't copyrighted by Epic? oh ok, makes sense. (/s) They can strike anything that uses Fortnite if they want to, so if it contains cheats/misleading info or whatever else they don't like, they can strike you. GL with that attitude
@VAB_YT @TeamYouTube @Ratthewstew These ads have been reported daily, for weeks, and nothing happens. I can only assume they replaced most of their staff with AI, because this level of incompetence is unreal.
@UnityCodeMonkey@GaryWhiteDublin This also means, for Bridge Race, with 9,180k installs, with a Pro License, the total install fee would be $229k. More than four times their revenue. They'd make a monthly loss of $178k and be indebted to Unity. Great fee.
@UnityCodeMonkey@GaryWhiteDublin Except the fee in that image is wrong, (0.01). He is completely ignoring the fact that the fee starts at 0.15 (1-100k, Pro), each month. Instead he is just using the 1m+ enterprise fee for all installs. E.g. Archero should be $25k instead of $2k.
@mattgamedevguy Now do the same for the mobile market, where Unity is huge and where a F2P Ad-supported game can make less than 1 cent per install. Oh wait, you would literally be losing money after reaching the threshold.
@gregoryscott33 @DarkestDungeon Introducing a fee, then using the fee to force people to move your Ad Solution? Wtf is this? 1920s Mafia a century later -> Unity?
@gregoryscott33 @DarkestDungeon Depends, do consider that Unity is huge in the mobile market, where most games are free and where the revenue per install can be very small. There the fee can be really bad. For a $59.99 AAA title the fee is pretty much irrelevant. The way all of it is handled is the worst part.
