Despite decades of rivalry, Ruto has shown grace, respect, and mentorship — from honoring Raila with dignity at state events to ensuring he is surrounded by capable protection.😜
Even more profound is the symbolism of one of Raila’s guards — the son of a man whose late father once found justice through Raila’s voice. A full circle of redemption, loyalty, and reconciliation. ✊🏽
Ruto’s actions remind us that true leadership is not about power, but honour.
It’s about building bridges where walls once stood and recognizing legacy even in opposition.
🕊️ Beyond politics, leadership is about grace — the strength to honour those who paved the way, even when the paths once diverged.
💭 What if the measure of leadership was how gracefully we honour those we once opposed?🤔

@yaldafrica a “man with a chest” balances intellect, appetite, and moral courage. For African youth, anchoring our ambitions in integrity, service, and responsibility ensures we don’t just achieve success we build a continent defined by justice, vision, and compassion.
#PersonalDevelopment😜
In today’s world, many young people are encouraged to chase success grades, jobs, and wealth. But without values, this pursuit leaves us empty.✨
C.S. Lewis warned against becoming “men without chests” people with knowledge in the head and appetite in the stomach, but no moral courage in the heart.🫰
As African youth, we cannot afford to rise without character. Leadership is not just about ambition it is about integrity, service, and vision.
To truly transform our continent, we must nurture the “chest” the place of values, resilience, and responsibility.

@yaldafrica True, life is symmetrical what seems obvious can become unobvious. Seeing someone you once judged transform into a person of integrity reminds us that growth is possible and lessons can come from anyone.

@yaldafrica I’d love an opportunity to preserve my culture just like Angola has done with its name honoring history, identity, and heritage is so powerful. #CulturalPride#LoveMyAfrica
#CountryOfTheMonth
The name Angola comes from “Ngola” 👑, the royal title of the kings (and queens) of the Ndongo Kingdom, one of the region’s most powerful pre-colonial states with its capital near Luanda 🏙️. When Portuguese explorers ⚓ arrived in the late 15th century, they adopted the title Ngola for both the rulers and their land, which later became Angola.
In 1975 📅, upon gaining independence ✊🏾, the country kept the name to honour its historical roots.

@yaldafrica Even Jesus remained true to His identity at the place of the skull staying rooted in who He was despite immense pressure. Staying grounded in faith and core values helps me remain authentic during life’s storms.
@yaldafrica I’d recommend following Eric Amunga #amerix. His consistency in promoting men’s health and mental wellness is unmatched. His approach to holistic well-being has helped many build discipline, confidence, and a healthier lifestyle.

Does it matter who you follow on social media? In short, yes! 💡Who you follow shapes not only your scrolling experience but also your personal growth. For Africans, by Africans, there’s no shortage of inspiring content creators to learn from, like Mbali Nhlapo for practical cleaning tips, Ivy Wanjiru Mugo for financial guidance, Benjamin Zulu for love and self-development advice, and Thandeka Sibanda, a registered dietitian who explores indigenous African foods rich in essential nutrients. 🌍✨

Even failure teaches. Learn from others’ mistakes — their errors can shape your WISDOM and refine your CHARACTER.
What lesson can someone’s failure teach you today?

@yaldafrica Africa’s challenge is leadership chosen through rewards, not merit. When key roles lack competence and vision, growth can’t improve people’s lives. We need merit-based leadership for truly inclusive and sustainable development.
