@fanboychecking@TheRealMrCity@thomasmahler@ChillyDawg423 I use a $7,000 PC alone, not even counting my setup.. but go off lmao. Something tells me your reading comprehension is well below average, so I don’t even think you can properly address any point of contention here.
@fanboychecking@Llareia@thomasmahler You keep repeating shit like a parrot. The series S has 8GB of effective memory when it comes to game development. The Steam deck has 50% more than that lmao. The series S is trash.
@mrmikeMTL Swapping to PC saved my gaming hobby as a whole. Modding, more control, better everything, more games, I could go on.
Money aside, learning was the only barrier to entry. I’m gaming like a degenerate again.
@xMBGx Not interested. There’s plenty of games out and on the way that I instantly will resonate more with. I don’t care to embody a girl-boss. I hope it’s good though, for those that decide to get it.
@Easelm@NickMDraco@xxmoonblastxx@METAPCs Getting an electrician to run higher amperage for a circuit in your house is pennies if you’re letting that limit your hobby. It’s really not that expensive.
@nuhre_ $70 really isn’t a lot in today’s society. Looking at the price in a vacuum or compared to the past? Sure.. but so is everything else.
Is it too much for mediocre slop or bad games? Yes. That’s the main problem— there’s way too many mid games that come out that just get glazed.
@pixelgrave_exe PCs are the ultimate gaming platform, so I’m not sure how this is even a debate. Consoles are good for convenience— but if fidelity, control, customization, and immersion are qualities that make gaming better(they are), then PC easily wins.
If you barely game, then consoles.
