This structural loophole allows the government to avoid real accountability.
The prosecutors self-righteously accused Miles Guo of running an anti-communist scam, yet they are the ones acting as the CCP’s enforcers, robbing the very dissidents who oppose Beijing. Under the guise of a "large victim count," the judge in Court Order 858 declared court-ordered restitution "impracticable." Instead of ordering a proper audit or appointing an Independent Monitor, the court authorized the government to handle compensation through the DOJ’s internal administrative "remission" scheme—effectively returning control of the assets to the Prosecutor’s Office while allowing parasitic trustees to continue draining the bankruptcy estate.
We don’t want an administrative "remission." We want our investment capital back!
6,512 HEX customers refuse to label themselves as victims. Yet the judge had the audacity to declare: "I will not consider whether a person subjectively believes themselves to be a victim to determine whether their loss constitutes a loss."
This isn’t justice. This is systemic asset plunder enabled by procedural loopholes and institutional conflicts of interest.
