We think personal AI tools are going to replace a lot of generic software.
We've been building Creature with that in mind. It's a desktop client for MCP Apps, but we're approaching them more like an operating system.
Build tools, share them across your team, run them side by side.
Early beta is live. Expect rough edges.
We've been working on something unusual...
It's a desktop client for building and sharing MCP Apps w/ your team.
But we're approaching MCP Apps more like an operating system than chat widgets.
The era of one-size-fits-all software is slowing. Personal AI tools are about to get really, really good.
It's live now. Early beta (stuff might break).
Glad these folks are still shipping:https://t.co/jkq2icZvqY. They had a new release this week. They are a quiet (but widely used) partner of one of the biggest serverless dev ecosystems around. @goserverless

You either die serverless or live long enough to become a server.
But actually.. flexibility is timeless. You shouldn't worry about costs at scale while going zero to one. We need more infra that adapts without rewrites.
AWS Lambda gets expensive at high volume. This solves that, while introducing traditional concurrency (multiple requests per process).
The good: no rearchitecting. Just switch your Lambda config.
The catch: your code might need a rewrite. Thread safety is now your problem. There's a conversation to be had about how to write Lambda functions going forward.

🚀 Serverless Framework v4.25.0 is available!
Latest AWS #reinvent features added:
- nodejs24.x runtime support
- python3.14 runtime support
- API Gateway response streaming (set response.transferMode: stream on http events)
Stream responses back to clients faster than ever 🔥
AWS Prime?
AWS is introducing flat pricing for a popular service bundle.
Pay-per-use is powerful, but a headache when paired w/ AWS’s extreme service granularity, especially for devs new to AWS, who are increasingly adopting competitors for this reason.
Bummed the only compute option is edge compute (no lambda?), but this is likely the beginning of broader experiment.

🚀 Working with serverless.yml in AWS projects led me to build a plugin for IntelliJ to make the Serverless developer experience smoother.
It includes:
✨ Smart autocompletion
✨ Schema-based validations & inspections and more

@dyoldfi@throrin19 We're rolling out an upgrade. It's had a few bumps. Working on it now. Our apologies. We're working on it and will resolve it shortly.
