The Botswana Investment and Trade Centre (BITC), together with the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (DTIC), is currently hosting the Botswana–South Africa Business Forum in Gaborone.
As two nations committed to regional growth and shared prosperity, this engagement reflects a continued drive towards sustainable economic collaboration and private sector development.
BITC, in collaboration with DTIC, will host the Botswana – South Africa Business Forum on 21st May 2026 in Gaborone.
The Forum will serve as a strategic platform to strengthen economic relations between 🇧🇼and 🇿🇦 while unlocking opportunities for trade, investment & innovation.
BITC invites reputable local companies to participate in the upcoming Botswana-South Africa Business Forum scheduled to take place on 21st May 2026 in Gaborone.
From strategic engagements with Botswana’s leading pension funds, BITC, and the Botswana Stock Exchange to co-hosting the Botswana–Rwanda Investment Roundtable in partnership with Pulaspace, a regional investment networking and deal facilitation platform, KIFC continues to advance stronger regional investment connectivity across Africa.
Led by KIFC CEO @HortenseMudenge alongside CIO, Jean Marie Kananura and Rwanda’s Minister of State, Public Investments and Resource Mobilization at MINECOFIN, Hon. Tesi Rusagara, the discussions focused on unlocking cross-border capital flows, institutional partnerships, and long-term investment opportunities between Rwanda and Botswana.

RDB Deputy CEO @JulianaMuganza yesterday signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Botswana Investment and Trade Centre @Go_Botswana, aimed at advancing collaboration on investment promotion and private sector development between Rwanda and Botswana.
The MoU forms part of a series of bilateral agreements and MoUs signed in Gaborone during H.E. President Paul Kagame’s State Visit, covering areas including avoidance of double taxation, visa exemption, air services, health, and economic, trade and investment cooperation.
Today, RDB Deputy CEO @JulianaMuganza joined Keletsosite Olebile, CEO of the Botswana Investment and Trade Centre @Go_Botswana, alongside government officials and private sector leaders at the Botswana–Rwanda Business Forum in Gaborone, taking place from 5–6 May.
The forum brought together institutions and businesses across priority sectors including mining, tourism, finance, and digital services, with a focus on advancing partnerships, B2B engagements and collaboration across priority sectors between the two countries.
