GFP leader Chetan Kamat visited the Sangolda–Saligao internal road leading towards Club West, after several complaints from residents. The MLA who defected in the name of "development" has failed to deliver even a basic road for Sangolda.

Used daily by 1,500+ families, including students, senior citizens, women, and workers, this dangerous stretch remains in a pathetic condition even after 4 ½ years of the BJP MLA's promise to repair it.

GFP will continue to expose this neglect, stand with Goans, and demand development delivered on the ground not just promised during elections.

A 3 day Assembly is an injustice to every Goan struggling with unemployment, inflation, water shortages, poor roads, failing healthcare, farmers' distress, environmental destruction, and declining public services.

The Goa Forward Party demands a full 20 day Assembly session so that every issue affecting Goa and every concern of every Goan is debated on the floor of the House. The Assembly exists to question the government, not to protect it from questions.

The election process has begun.

GFP General Secretary (Org.) Durgadas Kamat visited the South Goa District Headquarters (Mamlatdar Office), where the arrival of EVMs, VVPATs, and other election related equipment marks the beginning of the pre election process.

These developments indicate that the upcoming elections are likely to be held in November or December, with the final schedule to be announced by the Election Commission.

As the state prepares for the upcoming elections, GFP is fully geared up and ready to contest with full strength.

The BJP government has failed to fulfil its promise of constructing the Ambedkar Bhavan. Despite assurances from the Chief Minister, the project remains stalled for years with no land allotment or clear plan.

This reflects a disregard for the legacy of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the architect of our Constitution.

The Goa Forward Party will raise this issue in the upcoming Assembly session and demand accountability. We assure Goans that we will continue to fight until Ambedkar Bhavan becomes a reality.

The President of the Goa Forward Party, Shri Vijai Sardesai, challenged the BJP government to hold at least a week-long assembly session in the coming month. The government answered that challenge with cowardice, announcing only a 3-day long session.

This is not the governance that Goa deserves. This is not a government that serves Goa. This is an exhibition of how scared BJP is from questions of true Goemkars.

In order to preserve Goemkarponn, the Goa Forward Party demands that the government hold at least a 20-day long assembly session.

BJP’s Guru Dakshina to Teacher’s is Unpaid Salaries!

Since April 2026, Samagra Shiksha contract teachers are working without salaries, struggling to meet rent, EMIs, school fees, and household expenses. The government also failed to implement the promised 5% annual increment (GO dated 23 October 2024), denying them their rightful wages and dignity.

A government that denies teachers their salaries and rights has no moral right to celebrate Guru Purnima. The Goa Forward Party has and will always stand for teachers' rights, demanding the immediate release of all pending salaries and implementation of the promised 5% annual increment.
