As part of routine food safety inspections across Cyberabad, CMC Food Safety teams inspected Oakridge International School kitchens at Bowrampet (Bachupally) and Khajaguda.

• Food handlers using hairnets, caps, and protective gear
• Medical fitness, pest control, food & water testing records maintained
• FOSTAC supervisors present
• Proper labelling, pallet storage, and FIFO practices followed
• Monthly external food testing conducted
• Nutrition information displayed for students and allergen-specific food stored separately

Key Observations
• Wet floor and food accumulation in the washing area (Bowrampet)
• Water dispensers required replacement
• Dust observed in one corner of the cooking area
• Eggs required more effective cleaning before use
• No hot water provision for cleaning large utensils (Khajaguda)

ગુજરાતીઓ એ એક વાત તો માનવી પડશે કે આ વીડિયોમાં જે કાર્ય થઈ રહ્યું છે એને જ્યાં સુધી આપણે ગુજરાતમાં જ રાખીએ અને એ પણ આપણા પર્સનલ સ્પેસમાં રાખીએ, ત્યાં સુધી ઘણું સારું રહેશે.

અંબે માંની ભક્તિ માટે શરૂ થયેલા ગરબા આજે કોઈપણ કારણ વગર, ગમે ત્યાં અને ગમે તે સમયે રમવામાં આવે તો ઘણીવાર તે અશોભનીય લાગી શકે છે.

સમય બદલાયો છે અને હવે લોકો એકાંત અને શાંતિને વધારે પ્રાથમિકતા આપવા લાગ્યા છે. ફ્લાઇટમાંથી ઉતરીને પ્લેનની બહાર, ટાર્મેક પર આ વસ્તુ કરવી, કોઈપણ બિન-ગુજરાતી કે બિન-ભારતીય વિચિત્ર લાગવી સ્વાભાવિક છે.

આ પોસ્ટ વાંચ્યા પછી ઘણા ગુજરાતીઓને માઠું લાગી શકે છે, પરંતુ જે વસ્તુ તમને સુખ આપે, પણ બીજાને દુખ પહોંચાડે એ ક્યારેય ના કરવી જોઈએ.

તો બેંગકોક એરપોર્ટ ��ર નીચે ફ્લોર પર બેસીને ખમણ ખાવા કે ફ્લાઇટમાંથી ઉતરીને જ ટાર્મેક પર લાઉડસ્પીકર ઉપર ગરબા કરવા જેવી વસ્તુઓ અમુક ગુજરાતીઓને કૂલ લાગતી હશે.

પરંતુ આપણે ફક્ત આપણું જ નહીં, બીજાની દૃષ્ટિએ પણ જોવાનું શીખવું પડશે અને એ વાતનો એહસાસ કરવો પડશે કે આ "સિવિક સેન્સનો અભાવ" ગુજરાત અને ગુજરાતીઓની વૈશ્વિક છબીને બહુ જ મોટી અસર પહોંચાડી રહ્યો છે.

Totally in agreement with @PMOIndia on curtailing travel, fuel use etc. If it’s a global crisis, and beyond our control, self discipline will be the best foot forward.

However, I also have a suggestion for @narendramodi ji. 🙏

Sir, collectively we have close to 5000 MLAs and MPs in India. Whenever they move, official vehicles aside, they are accompanied by hordes of followers and supporters. Never seen even an MLA with less than 5-8 vehicle convoy. And sometimes these cavalcades run into hundreds of vehicles. And political leaders, across parties, travel daily to multiple locations. The convoys never shorten nor stop. You can add 2-3 independent vehicle convoys to immediate families of entire number too, just for calculations.

Collectively, we are talking about hundreds and thousands of vehicles daily, running for no apparent reason other than accompanying the leader and ‘to be seen’, and clocking millions of miles each day.

Sir, if you can direct these leaders, to cut down these illogical miles, it not only would help the present initiative, but also set a case for better future where twenty cars with horns blaring on roads don’t push commoners like us aside because the leader has to travel by supersonic speed to fashionably arrive late at his / her next function.

You’ve been a common citizen like us. You didn’t inherit the chair and power. I’m sure you understand the sheer insult and disgust we feel when bulky bouncers and cops hanging out from pilot and other vehicles just shove other vehicles around. So you will be resolving this crassness and unruly behaviour too.

Practical problems are surface repressions of deep rooted cultural issues. Like your Swach Bharat initiative. No amount of infrastructure can keep India clean if we don’t stop throwing garbage on roads.

I think, in the same manner, car pooling, minimising travel, not running ACs in cars in parking because the VIP cannot ensure 20 seconds of heat while the car cools when AC is switched on, traveling by public transport - all are more of cultural issue than practical ones.

And I’m very sure, a step taken by leaders will go a long way in making your initiative successful, sir.

Bharat stays with you. Wherever you go, the civilization goes with you. If you want to preserve and carry forward that civilization, practice dharmic righteousness wherever you are and uphold its values through your conduct, work, and integrity. You don't have to be in India for it.

When Airman First Class Spencer Stone of the USAF, his classmates Alek Skarlatos of the US Army and Anthony Sadler, decided to board the Thalys Train from Amsterdam to Paris with on Aug 21 2015, little did they know that they were going to create history with their courage and bravery

Because half way thru that journey, a crazy terrorist decided to do his own little jihad and wanted to kill the 554 passengers on that day

The first guy who stopped them, was shot by this terrorist. Hearing this noise, Stone and Skarlatos with their military instinct flung into action.

Stone decided to restrain him. But the crazy terrorist took out his knife and cut him in his neck, head and hand. He nearly severed his finger too.

But Stone didn't let go. He held on to the terrorist while Skarlatos disarmed him. But Stone was not done yet

He went to the guy who was first shot by the terrorist, held his hand in his vein to stop the bleeding and held him till the train stopped and help arrived.

The actions of Stone and Skarlatos saved the lives of more than 500 people that day.

The French awarded them their highest honor.

The US Air Force promoted Stone to Sargeant and gave him the rare Airman medal. They even gave him the Purple Heart, the medal you get for being wounded on duty

Meanwhile Skarlatos recieved the Army commendation medal.

A great honour rightfully given by a grateful nation

Now contrast this with what happened to the parents of Capt Majinder Singh Bhinder.

He was a 26 year old Indian army captain who had gone to watch the movie Border with his wife and kid at Upahar Cinema on that fateful June 13 1997 evening

Thanks to the criminal negligence of corporate terrorists, or Ansals who owned that theatre, it caught fire trapping more than 300 people.

With smoke filling up the theatre and people suffocating, with scant regard to his and his family's safety, Capt Bhinder took charge of rescue operations inside the theatre.

He guided people to safety and helped evacuate more than 150 civilians. But before he could get out the flames consumed him and his whole family. .

This was as brave an act as what was shown by Sgt Stone and Skarlatos.

But how did we treat him?

When his father applied for his disability pension, the babus of MoD rejected it saying Capt Bhinder had not died in war. He was merely a civilian who was on leave, watching a movie when he died.

Therefore he was not eligible for the pension and benefits entitled to soldiers making the supreme sacrifice.

For the mandarins of the defence ministry the fact that he saved over 150 lives held no meaning. The definition as specified in the army rule book was all that mattered.

Even the army clarified that he was in service as "Army people are never off duty". But the great babus in India ignored it.

It took a seven year legal fight and a judgement by the Delhi High Court to restore what was his right

This is how we treated a civilian hero

We may praise our army and admire the men, but as shown in the case of Major Shaitan Singh, Capt Anuj Nayyar and Capt Bhinder, our Bereaucracy treats them as badly as they treat us.

This is not how a grateful nation treats its soldiers, especially the ones who are heroes outside the battlefield

Now that the 131st Amendment Bill failed, allocation of Lok Sabha seats will be based on 2026 census data.

As per current estimates, seven States will likely lose 35 seats: AP (-5), Telangana (-3), TN (-10), Karnataka (-2), Kerala (-7), Odisha (-4), and WB (-4).

Four States will likely gain 34 seats: UP (+12), Bihar (+10), MP (+5), and Rajasthan (+7).

BJP is widely believed to be the potential beneficiary of redistribution of seats to States based on 2026 population.

In a stunning act of self-denial, the NDA government came forward to freeze the current share of States based on the 1971 census data. There could be many reasons for BJP committing to such a freeze - putting the nation above the party, paving the way for expanding their footprint in the South, or avoiding a divisive issue when the nation has to focus on growth and prosperity in the face of global challenges. Whatever be the motivation of BJP, the seven States that lost share of population are offered an unexpected gift. You don't look a gift horse in the mouth!

Surprisingly, the parties which have great stakes in the South and East have scored a spectacular self goal. This is a classic case of cutting the nose to spite the face.

In 2001, as the freeze in seats was expiring, I was deeply involved in persuading the then Vajpayee government to continue the freeze in the number of seats allocated to States for another 25 years. An unwieldy coalition and the economic challenge posed by external sanctions after the Pokharan explosion demanded national unity, and the parties responded with the 84th Amendment. Now again a priceless opportunity arose, and the Opposition squandered it without any strategic thinking.

If political animosity makes you oblivious of your own interest, or larger interests of fostering unity and focusing on growth and harmony, it is a sign of dysfunctional politics.

I appeal to all parties to come together and find a harmonious solution to the thorny problem of seats allocation in the face of demographic imbalances. National unity and our quest for opportunity and prosperity for all demand a fair and swift resolution.

In the long run migration will resolve the imbalances. Already millions of migrant workers are building and sustaining the economies of several States in the South, West and North. That is why, despite low fertility rate, Maharashtra's share of the population is increasing.
In the US, dramatic internal migration changed the demography and representation over the years. People move freely to States where there is growth and jobs are created. In a century, Florida increased its representation in the US Congress from 4 to 28, California from 11 to 52, Texas from 18 to 38, and Washington from 5 to 10. Owing to outward migration, New York lost seats, from 43 to 26, Pennsylvania from 36 to 17, Illinois from 27 to 17, Ohio from 22 to 15, and Missouri from 16 to 8.

We should make it easy for people to migrate to other States and recognize and respect their constitutional rights everywhere and make their life easier and safe. That will resolve our demographic challenges. Most states reached low fertility levels, and Bihar, UP, MP, Rajasthan and Jharkhand too are going to reach there in a few years.

We need a reasoned and pragmatic approach to grow together and become strong. Let us persuade parties to shed inflammatory and divisive rhetoric and focus on quality education and skills and opportunities for all.
