The Goathouse Refuge is a 501(c)3 no-kill cat sanctuary in North Carolina dedicated to providing a cage-free environment for cats awaiting adoption.

Mandy arrived at the refuge in 2011, and was very scared and shy. Mandy is still a little shy at first but opens up for treats . She loves to snuggle with other cats and likes to play, especially with the feather wand toy. This gentle, calm girl is waiting for you.

Ben and his brother Jerry were abandoned at the refuge when they were very small kittens, With time they gradually began to come out of their shells and let their little personalities shine. Ben is still waiting for a patient and loving home.

Dalia was the young Mama kitty of Julio and Jenny. Dalia's mothering duties are long over and she is ready to find a forever home of her own. She is a little shy and needs a patient family to build that trust with her.

Queso is shy but has learned to trust people since being at the refuge. He needs a patient person and a quiet home to have time to warm up to you.
Queso is FIV+ and with proper veterinary care, FIV cats can live normal lives for prolonged periods of time. DOB: 05/01/2021

Coral 2 and Corine were abandoned at the Refuge. They were most likely feral and are still skittish. Hopefully with time and effort, they will learn to trust humans, so they can have a home of their own. They need to stay together as they are bonded.

Cupid 2 is a lovely, medium-haired girl with the sweetest face! She is bonded to Love, and they need to be adopted together. They are both in our adoption building, so just let a volunteer know that you want to meet them! They are both almost 2 years old.
