I asked one if there was a French fry vendor for my then-young son. She said they don't sell those. And then sold fries to another customer. Some people are just jerks. 🙄

When I'm in Korea, I will occassionally get servers like him who pretend they can't understand me, but they seem to understand the white foreigners just

There's a scam going around. The spoofed numbers say Embassy (or Consulate General) of the Republic of Korea. Don't answer it. The phone numbers look legit but aren't. They don't leave messages. If you pick up, don't give them any personal info. They're targeting new immigrants.
