It is not the football played primarily with feet. America renamed that one “soccer,” then invented a different game mostly played with hands and called it football.

• 1,600+ tests
• 162 migrations

The machine includes a full web platform, realtime community infrastructure, background workers, and a PWA mobile client (native coming)

The stack includes TypeScript, Next.js, React, Node.js, Expo/React Native, PostgreSQL, Prisma, Redis, WebSockets, AWS, and Solana.

Then there are the external systems: Clerk authentication, Birdeye market data, X APIs, Telegram, Solana RPC, Resend email, Sentry monitoring, Amazon Bedrock, Reown/WalletConnect, Jupiter, and Metaplex.

The cost surface includes AWS compute, databases, cache, storage, queues, logging and delivery; authentication and market-data plans; metered X and AI usage; RPC access; domains; email and monitoring; plus listings and boosts such as the DexScreener work completed this week.

Some costs are fixed. Some are metered. Some grow with usage. None of it is powered by magical free turkey electricity.

That’s how we do things: build in public, let the community hit the machinery, document what breaks, and make it better.

The plan: linked members create original $GOBBL posts, prove they made them, earn capped XP, and potentially enter a Community Spotlight.

Sounds simple until you add identity checks, duplicate detection, moderation, fair limits, admin overrides, platform rules, and determining whether something is useful GOBBL chaos or just somebody talking shit with a cashtag.

This may also become our first small AI-assisted backend job, a lightweight Bedrock model helping separate obvious contributions, obvious garbage, and everything that still needs a human.

The goal isn’t more ticker sludge. It’s giving real contributors a public lane, a record of their work, and a way to help GOBBL travel beyond the Outpost without manufacturing engagement.

Take 52? Maybe 53? Public pitches are closed. DMs are closed. Somehow the promotion experts keep entering through the fucking wall.

Most haven’t explored the site, joined the community, played anything, or spent ten minutes understanding what we’re building. They want payment to drop $GOBBL between twelve other sponsored tickers, pin it for a few hours, and call the transaction a “partnership.”

Their followers are then left guessing whether they’ve found a project worth investigating or merely today’s paid animal with the narrative depth of a CAPTCHA checkbox.

We admit it: GOBBL is different. That’s deliberate.

If this succeeds, it’ll be because people like what they see, stick around, participate, and tell others. We’ll spend money at strategic moments, and we’ll find partners who understand the project well enough to add something durable.

But why would we take money away from building the actual GOBBLverse to rent a billboard for two hours in an alley where every sign says “NEXT 100X” and nobody remembers what was hanging there five minutes ago?

A pinned post isn’t a partnership. Copy-pasted praise isn’t conviction.

That’s temporary noise with an invoice.

I know how this goes. Most of the people this is about will read it, see the next GOBBL post, and send another DM anyway.

It’s a vicious cycle: we build, GOBBL makes noise, and someone arrives offering to sell the noise back to us.
