@charlie_wally@GetUpESPN@damienwoody Except it isn’t. Any season they didn’t win the Super Bowl is a failure. Dynasty is the epitome of success, and that doesn’t include that many failures.
@charlie_wally@GetUpESPN@damienwoody Yup they got about as close as you can get to a dynasty but then got blown out by the Eagles. I give them credit for being a great team, but they have not met the criteria for being labeled a dynasty, in my opinion.
@charlie_wally@GetUpESPN@damienwoody A dynasty is about domination in your sport. Championships. It is not a term watered down by lesser “victories.” It’s thrown around far too casually for what it is supposed to be.
@ChrisKetchem3@GetUpESPN@damienwoody It’s not. Dynasty is the ultimate barometer of sustained dominance within a sport. It does not get watered down by losses. Dominating a league for 8 years isn’t winning only 3 Super Bowls. A dynasty is about victories, not simply success.
@PrideOfDetroit Orlovsky said Detroit’s O-Line isn’t good enough to win the Super Bowl. Not repairing that line after Zeitler and Ragnow left will be Holmes’ biggest mistake.
