This is hands down one of the MOST insane things I've ever heard.

Sunny Hostin stopped a murderer from being found guilty because she saw he was "in psychosis" and he didn't "mean to kill" his roommate.

She then goes onto explain how the dude systematically dismembered the woman, cooked her body parts and fed them to homeless people.

This, apparently, she interpreted as this man not intending to do what he did.
