Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia continues with engagements aimed at helping define the ideas for the 2029 Governance program.
Today, in the company of his policy team, he held a very productive session with the Ghana Institution of Engineering.
The expertise and perspectives shared will be valuable in developing practical solutions to Ghana’s infrastructure sector challenges.
While the govt is pumping money into a PR exercise claiming they have consulted cocoa farmers with the draft cocoa bill before its passage, the cocoa farmers say the govt is telling lies.

Last night, the NDC Majority sought to rush through a very important Cocoa Bill under a certificate of urgency. The Minority urged that we take the time to engage cocoa farmers and other stakeholders before proceeding.

The minority has opposed this multi-year commitment request. Unfortunately, all appeals to the Majority to reconsider have been ignored.
However, we have served notice of the next steps we intend to take.
Kindly see the details here.
