Thought I'd clear up some information regarding today's Steel Ball Run news:
1. We don't know if "Stage 2" will release weekly, in batches, or even just one episode like stage 1.
2. Stage 1 was announced to be one long episode *from the start*. Stage 2 *wasn't*. This makes me believe it's not just "episode 2", but probably a few episodes, released either at once or weekly.
3. Stone Ocean's second batch was teased in March 2022, with a full trailer in July 2022, set to release September 2022. By this logic, we'll probably get more information in four months or so, with an exact release date. I personally hope it'll be sooner rather than later, but that's what we know so far.
4. Netflix and Warner Bros. have done a pretty appalling job at marketing the series so far. I think way less people would've been mad if stage 1 was marketed as an early premiere with more episodes coming in 2026, rather than not tell us about this information in advance.
5. As for the show's quality, I think the release schedule won't affect it in any meaningful way. Them dropping a few episodes at once or over a few weeks won't suddenly fix an episode from poor quality to incredible. The teaser looks pretty awesome, so I have high hopes for the actual quality of the episodes, regardless of how they release.
I hope we get more information in the next few weeks, but until then, you should probably try contacting Warner Bros. or Shueisha who are the actual producers of the JoJo anime, rather than some poor Netflix intern who has no bearing on how this show airs. 🙇♂️
This game has so many iconic moments I wish I could experience for the first time again, but they still give me chills
The lighting and Sephiroth's psychotic look is just perfection here 😩
