Harris has quite the reputation in some certain circles here in California...
1. When she was DA, her assistant was arrested for stealing drugs from police evidence.
2. She stole Billie Holiday's beach front property, from the Holiday family.
3. She withheld evidence of pedophilia in the Catholic Church from victims. It was too late to get them criminally, but they wanted to sue in civil court. You should hear some of their heartbreaking stories. I can't remember the name of the documentary though.
4. Had an affair with married, mayor brown. (This was a scandal, but I didn't hold it against her..as far as her career was concerned. Some felt it made her untrustworthy. Some say she slept her way to the top)
5. She was involved in a hit and run, that left a child in a wheelchair.
6. She locked a single mother up, for not sending her daughter to school. The daughter was in and out of the hospital, with sickle cell. Then bragged about it. This one is personal, because my son suffers from sickle cell.
7. She withheld evidence from people charged with crimes.. if it proved them innocent.. including a person killed on death row.
