We buy books with the purest intentions…

No, Redefine it.

It meant you got to do it right. not quite.
I don't think you want to succeed with a mediocre result.

If we absorbed every criticism, rejection, or negative opinion around us, growth would be hard.

So, in a way
Be like an avocado, grow anyway.

Avocados really do get hated on from every angle,
too expensive, ripen too fast, go bad overnight, “tastes like grass” to some people, and yet they keep thriving.

If they could feel all that hate, maybe they would have given up.
