The Prep participated in an African drumming workshop, led by visiting music teacher, Chris Hurne. They learnt how to play different rhythms on the djembe drums and even learned the names of some African rivers through song. What a wonderful & noisy way to start the half-term!

The Prep celebrated Black History Month by exploring African culture. In food tech, Mrs. Noppรฉ introduced African cuisine. Pre-Prep, Years 3 & 4 made Bunny Chow from South Africa, while Years 5 & 6 cooked Nigerian Jollof rice. A fun, tasty afternoon! ๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝ #BHM

Prep students started the week with a fun-filled Tudor Day, organised after a request from the Student Voice. Dressed in their best Tudor costumes, they enjoyed a music session, Tudor dance and a delicious Tudor lunch.
We are so excited to be back in school as there is so much to look forward to this term.

A fun evening in Walters House when Prep Year 6 joined the boarders for a boarding taster. After a delicious supper and the excitement of discovering their dorms, some very active outdoor games and the most popular โtuck timeโ, they settled for bed. ๐ค ๐ด
The Pre-Prep recently had a fantastic trip to the New Forest Wild Life Park! Some highlights included meeting the giant otters, seeing the beautiful day old fawn and watching feeding time for the pack of wolves! The play park was great fun too! ๐ฆ
