there are so many defintions for communication but one that I love and I don't think I should be talking about in the class is the Niklas Luhmann's definition of communication.
In his systems theory, Luhmann argues that consciousness (the individual human mind, or "psychic system") and communication (the "social system") are two operationally closed and autonomous systems. They cannot directly transmit thoughts or meaning to one another.
