Example of an Unknown Unknown: A man named Abobi Ababa, is an unknown unknown to you until I mentioned his name just now. Now, Abobi Ababa is known unknown, because you only know his name, you do not even know if he exists, nor do you know his nationality or image. You just know his name.

An unknown unknown is something that is not even part of your mind or memory. It’s like Barack Obama before he started running from presidency. I didn’t even know he existed before then. So he was an unknown unknown.
