Today we’re once again talking about why you need to be careful about cheap or questionable parts on your motorcycle.

Our resident builder Jesse Sawyer at Jesse’s Hawg Pen shows us a machined screw that somehow went straight through a tire.

And here’s the crazy part—this screw has a flat tip.

This isn’t even something that looks like it should easily puncture a tire, but somehow it still made its way through.

It’s another reminder that when it comes to motorcycles, the smallest piece of hardware can turn into a much bigger problem.
