Watch Fire Chief Richard O'Brien's final thoughts in front of the last Select Board meeting before his retirement. Tomorrow marks his last day with the town. It was a true honor having him serve as our Fire Chief for the last 11 1/2 years. Good luck and Godspeed Chief O'Brien!
Remember, when you "Spring Ahead" this weekend and change your clocks, please be sure to also change the batteries in your smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors! This often overlooked simple step could save your life!
With all of this new snow please get out and shovel out your gas vents, gas meters (carefully), car exhaust, and by all means adopt a fire hydrant in your neighborhood!
As an annual tradition, please keep an eye out on the streets of Goffstown this evening and tomorrow evening for that Jolly Man in the Red Suit driving through neighborhoods on a Firetruck and spreading good cheer. HO HO HO...

@Goffstown_FD was one of the many Mutual Aid departments who assisted with the massive response to North Andover, Andover, & Lawrence, Ma. during the catastrophic gas incident. Goffstown Fire sent Engine 1 down last Thursday night and Saturday night. Strong Work by all involved!
@Bfmorty Happy to help Chief. We know you would do the same for any of us without question! Strong work by all involved. I am assuming this list is not all-inclusive, but it is a good snapshot of the power of mutual aid! Stay Safe!
