33 years this week & still loving every second of it 👍

A couple of years ago today since this Legend said his sad radio goodbyes to us all @BBCRadio2 #irreplaceable

[Alfie Henshall @HenshallAlfie]

@GoffyMedia Sad news, go to the 'Rainbow Valley' Steve and rest easy 🙏🌹

[Paul Goffy Gough @GoffyMedia]

Despite the health issues Steve Ellis was loving life. He was absolutely buzzing when @BoomRadioUK chose 'Bringing on back the good times' for their big TV ad campaign.
New album sorted & loving topping the Heritage Chart - he never once stopped believing in himself & his fans x

3 years this week since our final farewell to BBC Local Radio listeners.
What wonderful times we shared, the stories, laughter, memories and connections that went far beyond the microphone.
How lovely that those links still resonate today. A privilege to be part of so many lives.

[UniTED @tedio74]

@GoffyMedia RIP Steve😢🙏❤️

[Dave A Lester @DavidThoma64875]

@GoffyMedia Now with the angels

[Paul Goffy Gough @GoffyMedia]

@liverbird17 Lovely to know that link Cathy - 16 years of age & the Boy face of the nation in 1968. He might not have been the biggest physically, but he certainly had a huge presence!

Awful news re the loss of Steve Ellis. I got to know really him well through our Whitby 60s years. We shared a lovely weekend in Liverpool last July and he was loving life. What you saw was what you got with Steve - as straight as they come. His music will be Everlasting.❤️🇬🇧x

[Paul Goffy Gough @GoffyMedia]

2 Steve Ellis pics that meant so much to him.
Paul Weller loved him from hearing Everlasting Love and never ever forgot him.
Johnnie Walker was a pivotal figure in Steve’s life, championing his music and welcoming him to Sounds of 70s. Steve was devastated when Johnnie passed ❤️

[Paul Goffy Gough @GoffyMedia]

What a fantastic review of the show.
Paul Casey really is a super talent!
The very humble stories that he related to his life with Chris Rea simply kept the emotional buttons being pressed throughout.
It was layered with so many parts of who we are & how his music resonates.

@GoffyMedia Top Show Paul and thank you for promoting it to us ! We were lucky to get the last couple of seats - it was a sell out ! Time flies when you enjoy yourself and the night seemed to be gone in a flash ! Standing ovations throughout the performance too !!

[Paul Goffy Gough @GoffyMedia]

Great work John ⭐️

[John Gillmore @Gillylancs]

What a great evening @WGBpl
With Rick Wakeman

A great audience at the Pavillion Theatre

[Paul Goffy Gough @GoffyMedia]

Always a joy to see you both & what a show it was.
I loved promoting that event & it carried so many links plus strong emotions for all that were able to get tickets to it ❤️A very special gig indeed that will live long in the memory.

[Stuart Heron @StuartHeron4]

What a fantastic night we had last Friday at the Arc in Stockton ! Paul Casey and the band blew us away ! If you get the chance it’s a must do ! Thanks to Goffy too as always @GoffyMedia

[Paul Goffy Gough @GoffyMedia]

We've ticked off so many fantastic causes to help & nothing has been a problem to @GeoffreyBoycott
Thanks for your kind words.

[Nick Newsum @nick_newsum]

That's the strength and influence of Sir Geoffrey Boycott and you have more than played your part, Paul, in showcasing all hus brilliant attributes

[Paul Goffy Gough @GoffyMedia]

More fantastic results from our unforgettable time spent with @GeoffreyBoycott in 2026.
The latest to be given a helping hand is @NYSDCricket ahead of their annual dinner soon.
The extensive list of those that have been helped by SGB continues to grow https://t.co/l60cVP6ofD

[Paul Goffy Gough @GoffyMedia]

Wherever we take our show, people never tire of asking SGB the same question re his radio absence & it's a true sign of a legend whose stories never get old!

And as @BumbleCricket rightly said in a special video he kindly gave us for the show, Sir Geoff is simply “BOX OFFICE!”

[Benny Bowden @oncebenny]

@GoffyMedia @GeoffreyBoycott Such a shame he’s no longer a commentator when everyone could enjoy his wisdom for free

[Paul Goffy Gough @GoffyMedia]

Chris tells me that on that same historic night, he was performing at a club gig in Wales - and the locals weren’t quite as enthusiastic about England’s success as he was on stage!🇬🇧⚽

[Pvj13 @PeterJordi85269]

@GoffyMedia He was at number 1 the day England won the world cup.

Happy 86th bday to the legendary Chris Farlowe!

One of the greatest voices in British music, with a sound and presence all of his own.

Chris never bothered with a driving licence and, in later life, has rarely had many photographs taken, so it was good to get this one with him!

[Paul Goffy Gough @GoffyMedia]

A fantastic media review, loads of positive messages on social media & some great visuals. Our 'Evening with @GeoffreyBoycott' in North Shields has proved to be a fantastic success.

[Paul Goffy Gough @GoffyMedia]

Making memories!
