❄️🌍 Our Reception class have continued learning all about the North & South Poles, learning about Emperor & Macaroni penguins 🐧 We discovered how penguins are amazing swimmers and carry their young – then tried carrying our own “eggs” just like them! 🥚💙
It is with great pleasure that we celebrate the national recognition we have received from the Secretary of State for Education, Bridget Phillipson, who has acknowledged the exceptional achievement of our outcomes in 2025.
Mrs Hodgson and budding bird watchers in our after‑school club would like to give a special thank you to Green Feathers for their generous donation of two new bird tables and bird seed.

School Nursery enjoyed exploring the snow and ice, discovering how the snow felt cold and crunchy and observing how the ice cracked and slowly melted. A lovely hands-on learning experience! ❄️
Our Year 1 children absolutely loved taking part in the Daily Mile in the snow today. A great way to boost fitness, wellbeing and happiness — even on chilly days!❄️
Yesterday, our annual Nativity and Christmas Carols performance truly brought the festive season to life! 🎄✨
Our pupils shone on stage, filling the hall with music, storytelling and Christmas cheer.
🎄✨ Polar Express Night at After School Club ✨🎄 Last night our children boarded the Polar Express in their cosy PJs, cuddly toys in hand, and blankets wrapped tight. With hot chocolate, a picnic, and their very own golden train ticket, they set off on a magical journey.
