🔸Demo soon!
Goldanniyatech is an urban fantasy action-adventure game, solo‑developed by me from scratch (without AI for content generation).

... but the results are too unpredictable! 😂
It’s not a major problem for me, though, because I usually just extrude faces from the jacket, which preserves the vertex weight information (as I did in the video).
The mesh transfer data (modifier or just the operation) is really hard to work with on my real‑life models.😨
For example, for a new button on Charlotte’s jacket, I tried using the modifier, the manual transfer operation, and even transferring weights from Weight Paint mode...
Just finished a new washing machine for the properties you can buy in my game.

I'll share more timelapses soon 😁!
I’m progressing on Charlotte’s jacket; it’s now a jean jacket, much more casual and urban than what I initially planned 😎
The collar is definitely the most complex part of the mesh to model 😅

Using simple enums both for simplicity and because I can have a nice dropdown inside UnrealEd. 😁
I don’t think I’ll need to scale, but if I ever do, I might refactor my Character base class (instead of Charlotte's class) entirely to add customization to any playable character.
Modeling is finished in Blender.
I tried adding more 3D buttons on the thigh, but the animation gave me trouble. 😅
I have to stitch the button to the pant mesh itself, like I did with the big one near the pocket, but I’m not really happy with that.
Small update on Charlotte's clothing system today.
I’m improving the 3‑layer outfit and starting to improve several clothing items (hat, etc.).
I finished modeling and texturing Charlotte’s jeans, though I’ll add more variation later.
Now I need to texture the shirt. 😅

Plus, Verse is a much higher‑level language than C++.
And the fact that kids can install UEFN and write Verse inside Fortnite IS the proof of how accessible it is.
Learning new things is never easy, but it is a requirement in computer science jobs.
Game dev is no different.
There's A LOT to unpack about Unreal Engine 6 in the State of Unreal 2026😁
I’m programming in Unreal C++, but not sure why people are worried about Blueprints being deprecated in UE6.
It'll likely be around 2030 by the time the last UE6 version with Blueprints is released.
I've had Bachelor's students who knew absolutely nothing about programming but could learn basic Python/C++ in a couple of days/weeks if they truly wanted to.
It's very far from being perfect, but people don't need a simplified, visual language instead of programming.

@RockstarGames ABSOLUTELY INSANE!
GTA VI is literally the only game that can blow up the internet just by revealing a cover art 😎
Kinda wondering if they’ll drop another trailer on June 25. Either way, the hype is through the roof!
Pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI will officially begin on June 25 on digital storefronts and at other select retailers.
Check out the official cover art, also available as downloadable artwork at https://t.co/XPwC8URCQ4
I rewrote my whole traffic system directly in Unreal C++ (based on my old Blueprint prototype) and squeezed a lot of extra perf out of it.
I might refactor the system later, but for now it’s fast & running great! 😎
Spent the weekend polishing my vehicle traffic AI in my teeny-tiny open world.
Vehicles now detect each other and pedestrians as well😎
The whole system is super lightweight so I can hit a stable 60 FPS on High settings, hopefully!
It’s not just about “spending hours”; it’s about finding better methods and learning deeply.
People keep looking for shortcuts or “secrets” to spend less time, but it's not possible.
AI gives you more access, but you still have to put in the effort, and that takes time.
I keep seeing people say students shouldn’t rely on course hours and need to “spend more time learning.”
Well, this isn’t specific to 3D or programming; it’s true in most fields.
If you’re not willing to invest time to build expertise, it’ll be more complicated.
