Every year, second year BA Design students undertake a major project, working on a live brief set by an external business or organisation. In 2026, students worked in small groups to tackle challenges set by Heatherwick Studio, Serpentine Arts Technologies and comedy TV series Taskmaster.

Today we are renewing our Civic University Agreement, to deepen local partnerships and reaffirm our long-term commitment to Lewisham's people, communities and economy.
