Had a blast at the fitting today! Dialled in on some iron shafts and also got to try driver, hybrid, wood, and wedges since I was the last appointment of the day

Really challenging 9 yesterday at Jamaica Run Golf Club. Had fun though! Lot to work on. I lost the mental game since I let the three golfers I was with psych me out since they were a lot better (<10 handicaps)

Just blew my own mind after video-ing my swing. Realized I'm bending my elbows BAD during backswing. This probably causes every other issue in my swing, since if it starts poor, it probably can't improve. Myself vs Tiger is night & day

Practiced with my net today and I filmed my swing during it. Made me realize how my arms were chicken winging and how I was coming over the top. Made some tweaks with what I learned at lessons and looked much better. Excited to try it next time I play!

We also talked about a new driver and when I'd be ready. My current one is 20 years old and 230cc so much different from today's. He said I'm not quite good enough for a fitting but close. Rather than just picking one up at Dicks, he and I will do a fitting soon. I'm excited!
