Today we're verti-draining the greens. The objective is to aerate the soil and relive compaction 6 inches down. we tested the soil and found we had a compacted layer at around 6-7 inches. We're hoping this process breaks the layer and allows moisture to drain through the soil

Access to Regent Park Golf Centre should be from the A58 (Beaumont Road) or (Victoria Road) going westbound along Chorley New Road.

Today we have applied a liquidated chelated iron dose.
Applications of chelated iron can be helpful to harden the turf against disease at this time of year when infections become higher risk.
it also gives a lush green look.

The sun setting and cooler temperatures, now is perfect to hit some balls at the driving range. 100 balls - £8, 50 balls - £4.50, 25 balls - £2.25.

The height of cut on the green is now 4mm causing true rolls. This may be reduced further but we don’t want to risk the greens burning out in the hot weather. We have applied a wetting agent that helps the plant access the water and stay healthy through these hot temperatures.
