Flying home this morning with a group of Honor Flight veterans, I couldn’t help but think about Col. Morley’s words:

“No life is or can be self-existent; we depend upon each other”

Looking around the plane, it’s impossible not to see that truth. These veterans depended on one another during their service, and today an entire community comes together to honor them.

Thanks to @GCSAA Josh Tapp for attending today’s Chesapeake Challenge and engaging @MidAtlGCSAA and @ESAGCS members on the importance of Facility BMPs. With the Chesapeake Bay in our backyard, it’s critical that we continue to be strong environmental stewards. 🌱 ⛳

Today, members of @MidAtlGCSAA returned to the AFRH not only as a follow-up from National Golf Day, but also as part of the GCSAA’s 100 Acts of Service initiative.

During today’s visit, we followed on various NGD projects and installed a dedication plaque on the periscope that was added during the NGD community service project, and most importantly spent time on the golf course with the veterans who proudly call Old Soldiers home. 🇺🇸⛳@GCSAA

Honored to be part of today’s #NationalGolfDay community service projects on the National Mall! 15 years representing @GCSAA

More than 150 golf industry volunteers spent the day painting and mulching on the Mall, while another 50 volunteers were hard at work at Old Soldiers aerifying and mowing. Proud to give back alongside so many dedicated people in our industry.
