@UsedGolfFacts 'British' is an adjective and its an open competion so calling it the 'British open' is correct β
The brand name is 'The Open', arrogant, but also correct. β
Logically it is not the 'one and only open' so that part is wrong β
@spartangrass I reached out to 3 rules experts and they conclusively agreed that whilst Bryson did stomp on the grass - the officials failed to prove that the grass was actually in the club path.
@Irish_On_Tour If you can't see the ball move with the naked eye then it didn't move - you can't use slow-mo video to prove that it moved since thats not movement anyone could detect. No penalty.
@GolfChannel@SmylieKaufman10 So you are saying that he could make the swing without the fescue getting in the path - and at the same time you say that it looks like he broken the rules - which is it?
@GolfChannel Bryson should WD if they stroke him, this is petty - the grass doesn't even stay down - so even if he did stand on the grass there was no improvement
@franperez_co You can't say that, even if they sold every one of these things the impact on the brand as a whole would mean Ferrari is no longer seen as the ultimate in racing style.
They would have been better off creating a new brand.
