The greens team making great progress this week with the practice ground improvements. With around 400 tons of soil/clay moved already itβs a working progress this week.
The team are on schedule and weβre excited for our members to see it ready for play later this month. π

Nice to get a mow on two of the three drained greens with the drain lines being lightly rolled by the mower. They are beginning to settle well! Was also great to take the opportunity of a nice sunny day on Tuesday to strim and tidy all the bunkers π€οΈ β³οΈ
The first of three greens drainage works has begun this week on the 6th! This work is being completed by our great team of greenkeepers. Following completion of the 6th green, the 7th and 14th greens will be drained over the next couple of weeks πͺβ³οΈ
The leaves are certainly beginning to fall as we head through October. The greens team have been busy blowing leaves and completing the long task of scarifying fairways with our brilliant Super 600 @WiedenmannUK ππ±
Yesterday was a big day in the history of TGC with the revival of the Board vs Staff golf match! ποΈββοΈ
Many thanks to the Board and staff for embracing the day, with 12 players representing each team.
Members will be pleased to know the staff were victorious on this occasion!! π

With some of our water courses unusually low due to the summers drought we took the opportunity to dredge them both, removing reeds, weed and silt built up over the last 20 years. A bit of rain is needed now to fill them up again! π
Bunkers are looking great! All the edges and tops have been strimmed followed by a sand distribution and a good rake.πβοΈ β³οΈ
