@TheSableyes “Gruu-!” It was a sound of amusement, somewhere between a whir and a belly laugh. “Have bad...” He paused, then sounded the word slowly. “Rep-yoo-tay-shun. Others say Golisopod too strong, fight dirty.” One big arm raised in a shrug. “Goli - I - no like fight. Prefer peace.”

@TheSableyes He nodded, lowering his mandible in a big bug smile. “Friend - yes. Many run away, think Golisopod scary. You do not.” One of his shorter forelegs extended to pat the Sableye’s head. “You be Golisopod friend?”

He dug his big claws into the sand and shoveled up another pearl for his friend.

@TheSableyes He watched the Sableye munch, and chuckled softly as he hugged onto his arm - the little one WAS hungry. “Where is trainer, new friend? Or - is friend wild?”

Scavenging! Scratching his claws through the sand, he pulled up a large pearl and held it out. Sableye ate gems, right?

“You - not look familiar.” He admired the gemstone eyes for a second, careful not to stare too long. “Shiny new friend! Hello. I - Golisopod.”
