Friends…we are fasting from Monday to Wednesday. Drink water (only).
The purpose of the fast is the question asked in Mark 10:15, Luke 18: 41, and Matthew 20:32.
See you on Monday morning at 4am on Teams ❤️
For a season, Hannah was empty and weeping. The next season, she was holding everything she’d prayed for.
For a season, Ruth was working in someone else’s field with nothing. The next season, she owned the field.
For a season, Esther was silent and afraid. The next season, her voice saved an entire nation.
None of them could see what the next season held. They just had to trust the God who did.
You’re not behind. You’re not forgotten. You’re not stuck. You’re just in a season. And the same God who rewrote their story.. is writing yours. 🤍
He doesn't waste a single one
A reminder: You have not met everyone who will care about you, visited every place that will move you or experienced every moment that will make you grateful to be alive. There is still so much waiting for you beyond today.
This woman said: "ONE OF MY DEEPEST PRAYERS IS: 'GOD, DON'T LET ME LEAVE THIS EARTH WITH MY ASSIGNMENT STILL INSIDE ME.' Use my voice. Use my story. Use my gifts. Correct me when I wander. May my generation receive everything God placed in me to give."
That closed door was a redirection to something bigger and better that I have for you. I am going to bring people into your life who will help you, not hinder you. They will encourage you, not judge you. They are not part of your past, so they won’t keep reminding you of it. Don't look back. I have something amazing in your future.
My girlfriend once told me something during an argument that I never forgot.
She said, “You always tell me to talk to you when something hurts me, but whenever I do, you defend your intentions instead of trying to understand why I was hurt.”
“You don’t have to agree with every feeling I have. But you should care enough to acknowledge it. Your intentions may explain why you did something, but they don’t erase the impact it had on me.”
Then she said something that stayed with me:
Date women who genuinely want a relationship, want to be loved, want to give love, want a man. Not because they’re hungry, but because they love love, they understand what companionship means, and you’ll enjoy the relationship.
This is my prayer for August.
God, blow my mind this month. Fill my life with sweetness in every place that felt empty. Take my wildest dreams and make them my reality, right before my eyes.
Do it so big, so undeniable, that all I can say is, “Yeah… that was nothing but God.”
I’m walking into it. In Jesus’ name, amen.
A sex therapist says there are 7 things women crave during intimacy but will never say out loud.
(Many men never know these)
1. She craves to be wanted so badly that you cannot control yourself.
