@BenGrahamUK We needed a gentleman there. To either escort her around this guy and safely up the stairs, or to throat-slam this piece of human detritus down the stairs to restore order.
Either one.
@whitey_xyz You know, when your kid is in high school, he’s going to have to face 85 mph fastballs if he plays baseball. So while he is in tee ball at age 6, you should throw it that fast at him. How else is he going to learn? /some dumbass, probably/
@Kolajr10@FunpageWho There was an episode of Doctor Who some time back where the Doctor and his lady companion (Karen Gillan here) come across a despondent Vincent Van Gogh (the man). They take him to the future to see an installation of his art at a museum, where he is amazed to find he is beloved.
@buzzerama@KRL_defi_ The middle part of the second one rivals the airfield and convoy scene in Raiders of the Lost Ark as a riveting action sequence. Was it jingoistic? Sure. But it is very successful as a genre film.
@__shiningstarr If you don’t understand the moral facets of something that happens and is broadly applauded, perhaps you should consider tweaking your personal code.
The ESPECIALLY comment reveals just how flexible your ethics are. If something is wrong, it is wrong.

@wikimapper@WestsideLAGuy@HamptonPrezcott Sprayberry? Not a chance. We moved away from that district when our twins were in 7th grade because it had deteriorated so much. All but one of my sons’ friends from there failed to get into even UGa, they were so underprepared by that school. The one that did was salutatorian.
