@daniel_williams It may be an adjacent topic, but in a modern world how to properly authenticate when working with remotes, and the pros and cons of PATs vs SSH key etc.
In general, I tell people how to reset and classic merges, then tell them to learn rebase once comfortable with those.

@Aerie_Faerie I don't _think_ gmail supports proper alias emails on a mailbox unless you go through the paid gsuite route. The traditional auto-forward approach should work, and I believe there's some support for importing emails from a previous account. It's likely not very streamlined though
