@matt_vanswol a lot of churches post sermons online. It’s helpful to check those out and see if the pastor has a teaching style that will hold your attention. Also, my #1 is how much they value kids. Some churches treat Sunday school like daycare. You want them to VALUE your kids.
@matt_vanswol At 17 I asked God if he was real, to please find me because I couldn’t find him. Hard to explain but at the lowest point of my life, literally laying face down on the floor, I suddenly knew 100% that he was real and he LOVED me! 40 years later and I’m still as confident.
@RichardAngwin@elonmusk Money makes life easier but children make it richer. You haven’t read enough history if you think this generation has it worse.
@farzyness And 37 years later the groove has carved an unbelievably beautiful pattern into your life and your still tired because last night was slumber party night and your house is filled with grandchildren. ❤️
@rustyrockets It is! @rustyrockets I was told to pray very specifically, to make it easier to see God in your everyday. I once prayed for a dozen eggs to tide me over until payday, and the next day a stranger approached with a dozen eggs in hand and said, “i think you need these.”
@ZubyMusic Good men want attractive women more than most woman want an attractive men. We want to be attracted to him, but he doesn’t have to be eye candy to anyone else. Men want eye candy first, with goodness as a bonus but not a requirement.
@onebiglizard It took 4 years to feel any sense of normal after my husband died. 8 years to laugh wholeheartedly. 14 years later and we still cry, still talk about him, still celebrate his birthday. My grandkids talk like they knew him. Moving forward doesn’t equal forgotten.
@stormrobinson Great story! I admit I never wanted to learn to change a tire 😕 It IS terrifying to risk accepting help from a man, so thank you very much for doing that. I know this was written to make a point, but what you did mattered. Thank you for choosing to keep chivalry alive.
@Travis_4_Trump I loved outside and my neighbors. We played kick the can and hid in their yards. Most were very old and yet they cared for us. Mr Weed let us watch his tv if we behaved. Mrs. Loberg let us help with her garden, Pat made us sandwiches, Tex kept us safe. We were blessed.
@LozzaFox@YouTube when some lady in Idaho, knows your name and face because of your acting, I’d agree you were successful! I have always been a fan. This song is great, and I’m proud of you for your strength and perseverance.
@rustyrockets I am very happy for you! I have always believed that God is as involved in your life as you invite Him to be, and the best place to be is in the palm of His hand. “Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hand, your walls are continually before me.” Isaiah 49:16
@TuckerCarlson@TonyRobbins I quit my job, sold my house, moved to a different part of the country with three of my adult children and their families. We all went back to school, got better jobs, and a lot more time and space to enjoy life.
@TuckerCarlson I watched @TonyRobbins first free conference at the start of the pandemic, I “burned my boat” and it changed my life. Best experience ever! THANK YOU
@BryanDMcNally My kids always talk about my “death glare.” I didn’t know how to parent so I read Dr. Dobson’s Dare to Discipline. It wasn’t easy but I stuck to it. My proudest accomplishment is that my four adult children (25-36) are honest, kind, hardworking, responsible AND they like me!
