I've finally put pen to paper about the Mets' offseason. My first article in four years. I hope that you'll take a few minutes to read it over on @GoodFundies on Medium, which still exists. Happy to discuss.

I'm so glad that Stearns is "very aware we are in this situation," which is a baseline qualification of the job. Can this guy dress himself in the morning, too?
"I'm extremely disappointed that we are in this situation, but I'm also very aware we are in this situation. It's my job to do what's in the best interest of the organization right now."
- David Stearns
@flippeddascript@YoitisLeo "Routine pop fly" was a big time slicing shot to right field that went like 350 feet. Baty should have caught it, but it was not an easy play for a guy who is not a RF. Leo you're just grumpy.
You could give me 50 tries and I never would have guessed that it was 1. Karros, 2. Muncy for the Dodgers in LA.
All the stars they've had over the years-- Piazza, Freeman, Kemp, Gonzalez, Betts, Green, Turner, Beltre, Ohtani.
It's Karros by a mile! Baseball is the best.
Take 👏crappy 👏starters 👏and👏 put 👏them👏 in 👏the 👏bullpen!!!
Blackburn went from useless (6.85 ERA for NYM in 2025) to amazing (2.08 ERA for NYY in 2026).
Many such cases!
How about instead of sending Brazoban, Raley, Minter, Robert, Holmes and others to a bunch of different teams for crappy prospects, we package them together in just 1-2 deals and actually get something back of value?
I'll hang up and listen.
