@LHissrich It didn't land at all. Should've made him likable and not creepy. Train Ciri. Leave Kaer Morhen for the trail. Come back in Winter, Ciri welcomes back uncle Eskel, shows him her ⚔️ skills that G and Ves has shown her (when he's not sleeping). He then turns and G has to kill him.

@LHissrich @theowlseye @RedanianIntel The best stories, even The Witcher, aren't about monsters or magic but the relationships between the characters. This is a crucial foundation for the rest of the series and the show hasn't done it believably. Not to mention, after a few months does Ciri have the skill to fight⚔️

@LHissrich @theowlseye @RedanianIntel Why wasn't Freya's age used to show the passage of time at Kaer Morhen? It's a gift, not trouble. BoE is vital for establishing the family bond between Ciri and Geralt, Yen etc. This happens over years, not "a few months" in S2. How can this be done now in a believable way? 1/2
