One Sikh man committed a murder.
535,000 British Sikhs did not.
They served in our armies.
They built our cities. They fed our homeless.
They sheltered our children after Manchester.
Know your allies. Don’t let hatred win.

@LFGDevils@PolitlcsGlobal@TheAthleticFC A gunman can’t shoot 100s of people within a few seconds with a banana can he?
So yes, you do have a gun problem. I don’t understand why that’s even a point of contention.
@g_x_r_t_h@PolitlcsGlobal@TheAthleticFC Yeah that makes complete sense - they’ll always find a way. I suppose it’s just about prevention and taking away as much risk as possible.
But I’m glad we disagreed agreeably 😉 Far too many nutters on this app.
@Danielxander10 Daniel, of course criminals won’t give up their guns. That’s why - in the incredibly rare event America does the right thing and bans guns - the police would be in charge of locating these guns and disposing of them.
You are an incredibly dense person. Bye.
@bald_kawa@CFC24k@PolitlcsGlobal@TheAthleticFC There are many more gun deaths in America than there are knife deaths in the UK. Even so, there have already been plans to decrease these deaths such as by selling non-pointy kitchen knives.
So your point doesn’t really work.
@comeytakeit@PolitlcsGlobal@TheAthleticFC I don’t think removing literal killing machines from the hands of the population is a punishment, rather it’s a form of social responsibility.
Civic mindedness.
@Danielxander10@pikabasketball@PolitlcsGlobal@TheAthleticFC Yeah, a maximum of 800 people since 1996; compared to over 40,000 per year in America.
Come on. If they started banning guns, it would obviously have a very positive effect.
They can then remove the backlog of illegal guns kept hidden.
Just do it.
@pikabasketball@PolitlcsGlobal@TheAthleticFC But that simply isn’t true in places where guns have been banned - take the UK for example.
They were banned following the Dunblane massacre in 1996, and since then 700 - 800 firearm deaths have occurred.
