Around 9 months there is much mental development
(separation anxiety) and physical development (starting
to crawl or even stand up) that takes place.
👉Those active babies especially manage to get into
quite uncomfortable positions.

The 4-month sleep regression is often a talking point as
one of the most well-known and dreaded sleep
regressions by far.
👉Very important mental development happens.
👉Between 12 and 16 weeks, sleep cycles start
forming, which consequently means that memory starts
forming.
4-month sleep regression:
❗Unfortunately if changes are NOT made this could
be permanent regression.
6-month sleep regression:
❗ Luckily this regression often does not last too long,
and their bodies adjust quickly to the changes within 2
days to 2 weeks.
#GoodNight#sleep
Sleep regressions happen due to change... and
because your little one changes all the time it means
a sleep regression can happen at ANY age.
BUT often these changes happen during
developmental leaps:
👉4 months
👉6 months
👉9 months
👉18 months
#GoodNight#sleepregression
All sleep regressions are caused by change.
👉Environmental change
👉Developmental change
Thus when your baby/toddler is growing (which is most
of the time) this consequent development (and change
within) can disrupt their sleep for various reasons.

~Milk is the most important source of nutrients up until 12 months, thus we recommend that you fill up with milk & top up with solids
~Don’t compromise on milk to increase solids.
~We usually keep a night feed to start with & give baby a chance to naturally push out night feeds

Starting solids too early or too late has risks.
Most experts suggest readiness varies, but typically between 4-6 months.
Never start before 17 weeks or after 26 weeks in healthy, full-term babies. Ensure your baby shows signs of readiness before introducing solids.
Feeds are still quite normal though with small babies... in fact, an early morning feed is still quite normal for a healthy growing baby up to the age of 9 months! Is your little one still drinking milk at night?
